Immigration

Immigration is the lawful entry of a person of a certain nationality to another nation. Most immigrants use immigration to escape from conditions of poverty, persecution, or overpopulation in their home countries.

Illegal Immigration

Illegal immigration refers to immigration across national borders in a way that violates the immigration laws of the destination country. Under this definition, an illegal immigrant is a foreigner who either has illegally crossed an international political border, be it by land, water, or air, or a foreigner who has entered a country legally but then overstays his/her visa. In politics, the term may imply a larger set of social issues and time constraints with disputed consequences in areas such as economy, social welfare, education, health care, slavery, prostitution, crime, legal protections, voting rights, public services, and human rights.

Illegal Immigration To The United States

Illegal immigration to the United States refers to the act of foreign nationals voluntarily resettling in the United States in violation of U.S. immigration and nationality law.

Illegal immigrant issues are largely concentrated in the Southwest region of the United States where the highest concentration of illegal immigrants migrating from the northern Mexico border come from. The issue is largely the most important issue to many Americans living in Southern California, Arizona, and Texas, whereas in the midwest and northern states, the debate over illegal immigration is not the most contested national issue.

There are 12 million illegal citizens living here in USA.

There are significant dangers associated with illegal immigration. Aside from the possibility that they may be intercepted and deported, some considerably more dangerous outcomes have been known to result from this activity.
